Dark storm clouds hung heavy over the Malvern Hills threatening to wash-out the penultimate day of the Spring Flower Show. Unusually we escaped with little more than a light shower which we avoided by dropping into the craft marquee. The weather didn’t deter hoards of gardeners descending on the showground.
With a couple of exceptions the show gardens weren’t that special but the floral marquee was well up to standard.
As were the schools displays.
and among the more unusual were bonsaid azaleas
and ice cream theme :-p
With folk and choral music wafting across the showground we meandered across to view the vintage cars on display.
Also caught a glimpse of Monty Don (sans Nigel :) - much clearer on the large screen.
All in all a colourful show.
